Carlitos Rodriguez

On February 14, 2018, Carlitos was one of the students at the school who experienced the tragic Parkland shooting where 17 students and teachers were murdered. In the aftermath, he channeled his pain and sadness by expressing love, positivity, and inclusivity.

He started a national non-profit organization called
Stories Untold US, that amplifies the voices of people amplifying the voices of people affected by the injustices of society. He strives to build a platform for anyone to speak freely, understanding that their story will serve a larger purpose to drive change, inspiration, and healing for themselves and the millions listening.

Carlitos travels to different cities to give speeches and do short documentaries of survivors from different gun violence experiences. He has spoken at Vote for Our Lives, Harvard University LatinX Conference, University of Pennsylvania, Facebook HQ in Menlo Park and New York, T-Mobile HQ in Seattle, and many other places.

Carlitos also has been featured in numerous news programs and articles, such as Teen Vougue, MTV, and more.

Stories Untold U.S. is a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the voices of people affected by the injustices of society. Carlitos is the founder and leader of Stories Untold U.S. He founded the organization on April of 2018. Through storytelling and other forms of art, Stories Untold provides a platform for anyone to speak out, understanding that they have total control of their voice, because the limitless value of their story will serve a larger purpose to drive change, inspiration, and healing for millions of people.

Facebook Community Leadership Program - The Facebook Community Leadership Program is a program led by Facebook to support social ventures, strengthen leadership skills, help grow community, and fund projects. Carlitos was chosen as one of the 15 youth leaders world wide to be a part of the FCLP in 2018. He received support with his Stories Untold US venture.

T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge - T-Mobile's Changemaker Challenge is a nationwide contest that mobilizes the next generation to create positive change in their communities. Carlitos was was also chosen to be a part of the T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge in 2019. He was also invited to Bellevue, Washington in February of 2020 to compete for the grand prize of the challenge under the category of Education and won with his Stories Untold US venture.
